There is the My Sweet Lord Cafe on University Ave about 2 blocks south of Ravenna Blvd. They have programs a few days a week and Wed evening is the kirtan night. Starts at 7:30 I think.

There is also the temple in Redmond now, and I also know of 2 groups that meet in Marysville and Sedro Wooley. If you want the info on those let me know.

Cool, thanks everyone. I'd really like to find a Saivite kirtan group too though! I'm starting to feel a little overwhelmed by ISKCON and would like to also maintain friendships outside that association.

Gina Sala is another person who does kirtans in Seattle regularly. You could google her name for details.

Another thing you might want to check out is the Dances for Universal Peace. Every wed 7:30 at Keystone community church. Not exactly kirtan but if you like mystical experience of kirtan you may also like it.

I am Saiva and will be moving to the Seattle area soon. Please write me if you find out any info.

My family and I know nobody up there so a little heads up on kirtan/bhajan group would be a great start.

There is Saivite kirtan group that meets monthly in the Queen Anne area of Seattle. They are pretty open to anyone attending regardless of tradition (details below).

Also there is a Seattle-area Kirtan listserve (SeaKir) at: egroups.com/group/SeaKir
