I was wondering if anyone knew when and where I can go to kirtan in Portland? Also wondering if anyone knew if there was still a Hare Krishna temple in town? Or other Hindu temples to worship at?

I called them an they have weekly programs that sound great. Theyhave been there for along time and the community has grown since a few months ago when i was there. Very high energy.

The address for the Iskon Portland in not the one i went to. A temple was set up at devotees house about a year ao and i wnt with a friend who took me when i went back for a visit. I will try and see if i can reah my friends to get the address. Another thing too is most yoga centers now offer kirtan groups and in most casses there held weekly.

I have lady friends in Portland who go occasionally to Eugine for kirtnas there. They meet in Portland also but i do not know how often. Call Jagamohini Didi @ 503.234.6647. They are sweet devotees from Sri Chaitanya Sarasvat Math.

Tue, March 6, 2007 - 11:07 AMThere is a great kirtan 2nd Sundays 6-8 at Yoga Shala SE (SE 34th & Division), by donation, with Lisa Mae & friends. There is also a satsang that I lead with my friend Jasmine, by donation, 1st & 3rd Sundays at Yoga Bhoga, Se 14th & Morrison. There are others through the Shala (you can pick up a schedule theer), and all over really, I don't have the info for others in front of m, but kirtan is huge here! namaste, izza -
